Now that u mention it, I really think 'Fa Shao' sounds like those cheesy <br />
theme songs for the sitcoms in the 90s.<br />

i think all the really talented composers are not so keen in such over-<br />
exposed competitions. so that's why the quality of these selected works is <br />
that bad. or maybe those ppl selecting the top 12 have some problems with <br />
their ears?? cos as usual, the selection process is not clear and <br />
transparent and whatever MediaCorp says, we can never really know what's <br />
going on behind the scenes lor.<br />

If Spop is to promote local music to the region, I am afraid it has not <br />
managed to achieve this aim. Personally I have not watched a single <br />
episode of this whole series cos it does not interest me at all. Just <br />
another local variety show with a seemingly-meaningful name. It takes <br />
more 'heart' to really give local music a push.

scarli the mediacorp people gave a copy of the CD to all the guests who <br />
appeared on the show ytd,<br />
including LI ZONG SHENG and XIAO JING TENG.<br />

haha when i first heard fashao on youtube with lingyi performing<br />
it..was quite okay leh..hahaa i think tomato is right, when<br />
lingyi first performed the song she helped it alot..<br />

on a sidenote(abit long sry)..while trying to get tics for the<br />
SPOP thing (only for XIAO JING TENG's sake of cus..), i came<br />
across this black colour website that was seemingly trying to<br />
imitate freshmusic abit. bobian had to listen to their podcast<br />
to win the tic, and ……….wahlao. i really appreciate<br />
freshmusic podcasts a million time more after going through that<br />
ordeal xP somemore in the end the tics that i supposedly 'won'<br />
keep getting cancelled repeatedly and i didnt get to go see XJT<br />
at all!! <br />
ha. <br />
conclusion.. freshmusic is the best!!!! lol~

Urm, actually we give things out also very slow, haha. Like so<br />
far only 2 people has managed to collect her Freshmusic Awards<br />
prize. haha. Sorting everything out this weekend. <br />

Anyway look out, Freshmusic will be giving away Jap albums soon.<br />
Bcos my house now stacked with loads of Jap albums and I think<br />
shld share with readers who really like them ~~~
